About This Hut
Fiddlehead Landing Hut overlooks Powell Lake from a steep hillside location, approximately 700 meters from the main trail. This unique shelter connects the Sunshine Coast Trail to the Powell Forest Canoe Route. The hut features an unusual design with a completely open lower cooking area and an enclosed sleeping loft upstairs. While the wonderfully mossy forest creates a dark atmosphere, an elevated wharf extends onto the lake, providing the best spot to catch some sun.
